AROBS posts revenues of 53.2 million lei and a net profit of 14.9 million lei in Q1 2022
AROBS Transilvania Software (BVB: AROBS), the largest technology company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, posts an operating revenue of 53.2 million lei in the first quarter of 2022 at an individual level, a 33% increase compared to Q1 2021, a turnover of 52.6 million lei, an appreciation of 33% compared to Q1 2021, EBITDA of 17.4 million lei, a 22% increase compared to Q1 2021 and a net profit of 14.9 million lei, a positive variation of 14% compared to the previous year.
“The net turnover recorded in the first quarter of the year exceeds by 7% our estimates for this period and gives us confidence that we are on the right track in achieving the targeted objectives for this year. The increase in turnover in Q1 2022 is determined, on the one hand, by the extension of the number of projects in the category of software services we provide and by attracting new clients in the software products field, in line with the global increases in software services and product development,” stated Voicu Oprean, founder and CEO of AROBS.
The reported financial results for Q1 2022 are at the individual level of AROBS Transilvania Software. Regarding the split of the turnover, software services contributed 80% to the company’s turnover, products by 19%, while other services contributed 1%. The company expects the software development industry to continue the upward trend, observing an increase in demand for software services and software products, such as fleet management, business optimization, and digital payments, amid increasing investment in digitalization made by companies and organizations.
“We will continue the announced investment plans, both by conducting M&A transactions, as well as by developing new expertise with high demand in the global software services market. We are in a context where the automation and simplification of work processes within companies and organizations worldwide will continue to represent the trends in the tech industry in the medium to long term. There are still many things that can be improved in the digital transformation field at every industry level, from fleet management to business optimization and digital payments. From this perspective, AROBS has all the necessary ingredients to capture a significant share from providing software services and developing products in the markets in which the company is present,” added Voicu Oprean.
AROBS Transilvania Software is listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange as of December 6, 2021. The company currently has a market capitalization of approximately 900 million lei.
