2Performant posts a 76% increase in intermediated sales in Q2 2023

2Performant (BVB: 2P), a technology company and the leader of the affiliate marketing market in Romania, announces that its platform intermediated 690,000 sales in Q2 2023, a 76% increase compared to the same period last year. These sales had a total value of 31.4 million euros (excluding VAT), a 45% increase compared to Q2 2022, which generated affiliates commissions worth 1.9 million euros, +41%.

The results generated by the 2Performant platform this quarter continue the upward trend in our development and confirm the effectiveness of our strategy, both in developing our technology and our commercial approach. The value of transactions intermediated by 2Performant has increased every year. If last year we exceeded for the first time the 100 million euros plus VAT threshold, this year we will be close to or even exceed 150 million euros in the value of sales generated. In the second quarter of 2023, the platform users sent 25.4 million clicks to 2Performant stores, a 36% increase over the same period last year. The average affiliate earnings per 100 clicks amounted to 7.48 euros, a 3% increase, while the conversion rate saw an increase of 0.6pp compared to Q2 2022, reaching 2.7%. The yield of affiliate marketing budgets per euro invested was 16.5, a 4% increase. The average sale value through the platform was 45.5 euros (excluding VAT), a 17% decrease compared to Q2 2022, in the context of high inflation, which influenced buyers’ spending habits, as well as the increasing share of pharmaceuticals in total sales, whose average value is lower.

In the first half of this year, 2Performant focused on increasing the quality of the ecosystem, which resulted in significant increases in Q2 2023 in the average results per indicator, i.e., average sales increasing by 189% per affiliate, 126% per customer, and 134% per active relationship (generating traffic).

The main product categories sold in the first quarter of 2023 were: Pharmaceuticals, Fashion, Books, Beauty, Electronics IT&C, Toys & Products for kids, Home & Garden, Pet Supplies, Health & Personal Care, and Sports & Outdoors. During the analyzed period, 2Performant’s top ten customers by the value of commissions generated were: Dr.Max, Answear, DY Fashion, SpringFarma, Nichiduță, Kinder Auto, Cărturești, Sinsay, Bookzone, and Lensa.

In its 14 years of activity, 2Performant has intermediated 10.2 million sales with a total value of 470 million euros through 634 million clicks sent to online stores, generating affiliates commissions of 31 million euros.

The results generated by 2Performant users are updated daily on the company’s website, where online purchasing behavior trends are displayed at the network level and broken down by main industries. The company intends to continue to publish such aggregated data at the end of each quarter so that shareholders and investors have a comprehensive understanding of the performance of 2Performant’s business indicators over a year of activity.
