2Performant posts a 46% increase in intermediated sales in Q3 2023 and surpasses the 2 million sales threshold this year
2Performant (BVB: 2P), a technology company and the leader of the affiliate marketing market in Romania, announces that its platform intermediated 684,000 sales in the third quarter of 2023, a 46% increase compared to the same period last year. Following this result, 2Performant recorded 2 million intermediated sales in 2023, the first year the company has surpassed this threshold.

After coming very close to reaching this remarkable goal in 2022, 2023 saw a significant advance in intermediated sales. This growth allowed us to surpass the 2 million sales milestone just before the beginning of the fourth quarter of the year, traditionally the most fruitful period for the eCommerce industry. Performance is deeply embedded in the 2Performant culture and is a core value for both our team and our users. Sales intermediated by 2Performant in Q3 2023 had a total value of 33.5 million euros (excluding VAT), a 38% increase compared to Q3 2022, generating affiliates commissions of 2 million euros, +31%. During this period, platform users sent 23.4 million clicks to 2Performant stores, a 15% increase compared to the third quarter of 2022. Average affiliate earnings per 100 clicks amounted to 8.35 euros, an advance of 14%, while the conversion rate increased by 0.6pp up to 2.9%.
In terms of the yield of affiliate marketing budgets for each euro invested, this was 17.2 euros, a 5% increase. The average value of sales through the platform was 49 euros (excluding VAT), a 6% decrease compared to Q3 2022, in the context of high inflation, which influenced buyers’ spending habits, as well as the increasing share of pharmaceuticals in total sales, where average sale value is lower compared to other industries.
In the first nine months of this year, 2Performant focused on streamlining the ecosystem, which resulted in significant increases in Q3 2023 in average results per indicator, i.e. average sales increasing by 125% per affiliate, 84% per customer and 94% per active relationship (generating traffic).
The main product categories sold in the third quarter of 2023 were: Pharmaceuticals, Fashion, Books, Beauty, Electronics IT&C, Toys & Products for kids, Home & Garden, Pet Supplies, Health & Personal Care, and Sports & Outdoors. During the analyzed period, 2Performant’s top ten customers by the value of commissions generated were: Dr.Max, Answear, DY Fashion, NailsUp, Otter, Librarie.net, Kinder Auto, SpringFarma, Flanco, and evoMAG.
In its 14 years of activity, 2Performant has intermediated 10.9 million sales with a total value of 505 million euros through 657 million clicks sent to online stores, generating affiliates commissions of 33 million euros.
The results generated by 2Performant users are updated daily on the company’s website, where online purchasing behavior trends are displayed at the network level and broken down by main industries. The company intends to continue to publish such aggregated data at the end of each quarter so that shareholders and investors have a comprehensive understanding of the performance of 2Performant’s business indicators over a year of activity.
